ANNOUNCING THE RELEASE OF THE 5TH EDITION OF THE WORLD'S MOST RESPECTED DIRECTORY OF WARBIRD AIRCRAFT.

Published by the original compiler.
For the past 19 years, the WARBIRDS DIRECTORY has presented the only definitive listing of current and past aircraft of the warbirds movement around the World. It was first published as a book, later as a book and a CD.
This 5th edition is published as a CD only. This allows easy searches for a particular aircraft, owners, etc.
More than double the content of the previous CD. This latest edition includes 50 additional aircraft types. Previously, aircraft which ceased to exist prior to 1970 were excluded because of space constraints. These are now included, adding many hundreds of aircraft to the listings.
Provides histories of over 370 different types of ex-military aircraft preserved or acquired by civil owners with the intention of being flown. View the actual index of aircraft types on the CD.
Not just a listing of current aircraft. The WARBIRDS DIRECTORY provides known history for each aircraft, including owners, accidents and rebuilds. For World War Two era aircraft, these histories go back to the post-war disposals sales. It shows their use for aerial survey, crop spraying, firebombing and air racing before the survivors became "warbirds".
Status and ownership updated to 2008.
CD is liberally illustrated by photographs of warbirds, current and historical.
PRICE is $54.99 (AUSTRALIAN) including packing and postage worldwide.
